Jadrová a vyraďovacia spoločnosť, a. s. (JAVYS) became one of the partners of the 7th edition of the prestigious SlovakiaTech Forum-Expo 2025 event, which took place on September 17-18 in Košice.

Jadrová a vyraďovacia spoločnosť, a.s. (JAVYS) successfully participated in the World Nuclear Exhibition 2025, which was held at Paris Nord Villepinte – Hall 6 in Paris. The event took place from 4 to 6 November and is one of the most important B2B meetings of the civil nuclear industry.

Jadrová a vyraďovacia spoločnosť, a.s. (JAVYS) participated in the perFEKT AtomDay 2025 professional event, which took place at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Technologies of the Brno University of Technology (FEKT VUT).

According to the current legislation and rules Jadrová a vyraďovacia spoločnosť,a.s. (JAVYS) bas asked by the Regional Authority for Public Health in Košice to identify and secure the radioactive material in the Slovak Technical Museum Košice.

Nuclear and Decommissioning Company (JAVYS) and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have extended their joint Collaborating Centre operation for the period of 2025 to 2029. The decision follows on from the centre´s success between 2021 and 2025, during which JAVYS actively contributed to the development of professional capacities in the field of nuclear facilities decommissioning, radioactive waste management and spent nuclear fuel management.

On Wednesday the 5th of October 2011 JAVYS has transported spent nuclear fuel from the Mochovce nuclear power plant to the Interim spent fuel storage in Jaslovské Bohunice, the proprietor and operator of which is JAVYS itself.

Between the 19th and the 23th of January 2012 the JAVYS company has transported the spent fuel from the V2 nuclear power plant, operated by Slovenské elektrárne, a member of the ENEL group, to the Interim spent fuel storage in Jaslovské Bohunice.
