According to the current legislation and rules Jadrová a vyraďovacia spoločnosť,a.s. (JAVYS) bas asked by the Regional Authority for Public Health in Košice to identify and secure the radioactive material in the Slovak Technical Museum Košice.
Nuclear and Decommissioning Company (JAVYS) and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have extended their joint Collaborating Centre operation for the period of 2025 to 2029. On Wednesday the 5th of October 2011 JAVYS has transported spent nuclear fuel from the Mochovce nuclear power plant to the Interim spent fuel storage in Jaslovské Bohunice, the proprietor and operator of which is JAVYS itself.
Between the 19th and the 23th of January 2012 the JAVYS company has transported the spent fuel from the V2 nuclear power plant, operated by Slovenské elektrárne, a member of the ENEL group, to the Interim spent fuel storage in Jaslovské Bohunice.
