The National Radwaste Repository (NRR) in Mochovce was visited on 7 June 2022 by the Austrian delegation, led by the Austrian Ambassador to Slovakia, Margit Bruck-Friedrich.

Company JAVYS and Faculty of Natural Sciences of Comenius University in Bratislava will cooperate in the field of scientific research and education. By signing the document on cooperation, both organizations have expressed their will to contribute to the development of a knowledge-based society.

Company JAVYS has extensive expertise in the field of decommissioning and operation of nuclear facilities, which it provides to many foreign partners and organizations worldwide through its consulting services.

Company JAVYS, a. s., became a member of the European Industrial Alliance for Small Modular Reactors (SMR) on 30 April 2024 and will participate as a full member in the first General Assembly of the Alliance in Brussels, which is tentatively scheduled for the end of May.

The Financial Administration authority awarded the largest income tax payers for the tax period of 2021.

Company JAVYS has been requested nine times to collect the radioactive materials of unknown origin in 2023, the heaviest piece being a ten-kilogram kids’ tricycle.

As the decommissioning process of the A1 and V1 nuclear power plants continues, metallic wastes are produced in the controlled area and also outside of it. Once the conditions for release from administrative control are met, the metals are returned to the recycling process.

In 2022, as part of the A1 and V1 nuclear power plants decommissioning process, company JAVYS, a.s., returned almost 2,000 tonnes of metallic waste from decommissioned materials into the recycling process.
