Ing. Ivan Galbička    Member of the Board of Directors

Ing. Ivan Galbička is a member of the Board of Directors of JAVYS, a. s.

He was born on 13 April, 1963 in Madunice. He graduated from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava, majoring in environmental and safety engineering.

He began his professional career at Bohunice Nuclear Power Plant, where he worked as an Instrumentation & Control mechanic. Subsequently, starting in 1998, he worked at Slovenské elektrárne, a. s. – VYZ, where he held the positions of radiation safety technician and head of radiation protection shift. He has worked at Jadrová a vyraďovacia spoločnosť, a. s., since it has been established. During his tenure, he has worked in various technical and managerial positions in the field of radiation protection related to spent nuclear fuel management, treatment and conditioning of radioactive waste, and decommissioning of nuclear facilities.

Since 2024, he has been a member of the Board of Directors and Director of A1 NPP Decommissioning and RAW, SNF Management Division.
